A scan, of a slide, of the Island on Lake Edison in the Sierra Nevadas of California, where my family vacationed when I was a boy. This island is the inspiration for many of my island sketchs - such as the one above right. This picture was taken sometime in the early 70's. My family was up at lake Edison when Nixon resigned.
